I am pleased as punch to write that through a mindblowing bit of good fortune, I've been picked up by a literary agent. I am happy, and humbled, and oh-so-very excited. There are some further details available over at my Kickstarter campaign page, if you'd like to learn more.
I have been asked for some revisions (all of which I feel positive about), and my deadline is May 17. Looks like April's going to be a busy month. In a good way.
As of last week, my book is done. I can finally put my notebooks and red pen away. It's a pretty weird feeling, having nothing left to work on -- but it's pretty great, too. I am also, admittedly, quite tired, and I think if you were to put your ear up to mine, you'd hear static.
I'll be taking a bit of much needed downtime this week, and then it's time for me to start the querying process. As mentioned on my newly updated book page (cough, shameless plug), that means I'm in search of a literary agent or commissioning editor. After many years of scribbles, the time has come for a new design. Pretty spiffy, isn't it?
