The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

Somewhere within our crowded sky, a crew of wormhole builders -- better known as tunnelers -- makes their way around the galaxy, punching holes in space. Their ship is the Wayfarer, and their next destination may well be the job of a lifetime. These are working-class people, each doing the best they can, all just trying to get through another day. There are no heroes to be found here.
But even the most ordinary folks have stories to tell. As we follow these nine characters on their travels, the intricacies of our species’ intergalactic future are laid bare. Set against a backdrop of curious cultures and alien worlds, The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet explores life among the stars through the eyes of the everyman.
The book is just about done. All it needs is a home. I'm currently working on revisions for my literary agent, after which point we'll be ready to start searching for publishers. If you are a commissioning editor who might be interested in taking a look, feel free to get in touch.
In March 2012, I ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to help fund my writing time. You can find out more about my work over the past year on my campaign page.
